It’s not often I hear something at work that makes me feel good, but this made my day.
In October of 2008, I was diagnosed with Leukemia. That year on Christmas I placed an order in your webstore. I let you guys know my situation and that I was spending my Christmas $ on records that would help me get through Chemotherapy and that I liked stickers. When I got my package a couple weeks later I was surprised to see that you guys had thrown in every sticker that you have in the store, some compilation CD’s, and a 7” on top of my order. I want to let you know that it may seem like a small gesture but it really meant the world to me and that kindness got me through the roughest part of Chemotherapy. I am now in remission as of 2010 and doing better than ever. Through stuff like this to a benefit show my local scene put together to all those classic Rev releases, I honestly feel that Hardcore saved my life. Thank you guys for your support in my time of need and keep up the awesome work with mail-order/the label in general. No one in hardcore does it better, no one is more genuine, and no other label/distro has treated me as well as you guys have over the years. I love Hardcore and I love you guys. -Nathaniel Miles from Indy ps. I can’t fucking wait for that new GIVE record you are putting out.
E-mail I received from the singer of Culo
"You are a stupid rich fat faggot stop sending me updates on your fucking bourgeois band exploiting label. Your the worst type of person a bourgeois type of person.(An industrious person always looking for happiness) Gag on a donut, you stupid, profiteer, trend hopping fat faggot (As said previously) I don’t want to ever see you. Stop sending me updates. Take me off your list I’m not going to help fund you and your stupid shit.
Suck my dick, fear me”
For someone in a pop punk band, this guy sure is on edge.
